What Your Chin and Jaw Say About Your Future Life

Jaw & Chin: Willpower, Endurance, and Staying Power

Does Your Chin Shape Really Decide Your Fate?

I don’t know if you’ve ever come across those short videos about facial features, where the host points to the screen and says that a pointed chin means a lonely old age, while a square chin means a born rich person.

Many people turned around and touched their own chins in the mirror after seeing this. Those with pointed chins felt emo on the spot, while those with square chins felt secretly pleased. Some even saved up money to get chin fillers to change their luck.

Today I’ll explain the origins and development of this claim, as well as the pitfalls that everyone has fallen into countless times. Our full face reading chart covers the wider map, where the chin anchors the lower section of the face and the northern peak of the Five Sacred Mountains.

Many of my beginner students, after only memorizing a couple of lines of the mantra “A square jaw indicates good fortune in old age,” dared to make random comments about the people around them.

Last time, a young girl came to me with a long face, saying that she had just spent $4,200 to get a V-shaped face and wondered if she would be alone for the rest of her life.

There was another guy who said he had a standard square jaw, so how come he’s almost forty and still delivering food? Where’s the promised wealth?

You think that the shape of your chin directly corresponds to your fate in old age, pointed chins mean misery, square chins mean wealth, and round chins mean good fortune.

In reality, this is just like trying to predict a person’s entire life based solely on the hour pillar in their birth chart, purely dishonest.

I’ve said the phrase “physiognomy should not be discussed in isolation” eight hundred times, but some people still ignore it.

All the formulas in ancient physiognomy books have corresponding prerequisites and conditions; they cannot be used directly without careful consideration.

What the Chin and Jaw Mean in Face Reading

First, you need to understand that the chin we’re talking about is the core part of the lower part of the face in face reading, professionally known as the “earthly pavilion”.

It corresponds not only to whether you will have money or companionship in your old age, but also to your children’s fortune, your property fortune, your subordinates’ fortune, and even your health in your later years.

In ancient agrarian societies, people with square jaws were generally strong and capable of carrying heavy loads and storing grain.

People with strong jawbones are generally stable and reliable. They are less likely to make reckless mistakes when they are young and are able to accumulate wealth.

Man in profile with a strong, defined jawlineMan in profile with a strong, defined jawline

Moreover, people with broad and thick chins have strong kidney energy, which means they will be healthy in old age and won’t have to suffer from frequent hospital visits.

In ancient times, people with chins that were as sharp as cones were mostly those who didn’t have enough to eat or were born weak.

When people get old and can no longer work, have no food reserves, and are in poor health, coupled with the lack of social security and pensions in ancient times, it is natural for them to face a bleak old age.

This mnemonic was summarized by ancient people based on their living environment at that time, and it is no longer applicable in many ways today.

Applying ancient standards to modern people is like trying to find a sword by marking the boat.

Common Myths About Pointed, Square and Double Chins

Pointed Chins

Many celebrities nowadays have pointed chins. The money they earned when they were young is enough for an ordinary person to live on for ten lifetimes. When they get old, they have nannies and caregivers and can go wherever they want to play. How could they be lonely?

I once met a female designer who had a typical small, pointed chin. Before she turned thirty, she had bought two houses on her own and had six-figure savings.

Woman with a small pointed chin and a calm expressionWoman with a small pointed chin and a calm expression

She’s in her forties now, and when she has free time she goes on trips, eats out when she doesn’t feel like cooking, and stays home to pet her cat and draw when she doesn’t want to interact with people.

You say she’s lonely? She’s enjoying solitude, which is much more comfortable than someone who’s always revolving around their husband and children.

Many people’s misunderstandings about pointed chins come from taking the mnemonic out of context.

Square Chins

Some people think that a square chin necessarily means wealth and status. I’ve seen too many people with square chins who were aggressive and violent when they were young, got into fights, and ended up spending more than ten years in jail.

After leaving home, they don’t know anything and can only do odd jobs to make ends meet. When they get old, they won’t even have a place to stay.

Why didn’t his square jaw bring him wealth and fortune? Because it wasn’t a square and substantial one, but rather a “rebellious” jawbone with a prominent, horizontal protrusion.

It’s what ordinary people call “protruding cheeks,” where the jawbones bulge out very noticeably to both sides, like having two hard candies in your mouth, and the angles of the jawline are so sharp they could scrape paper, with no flesh at all.

Close-up of a wide, angular jaw and chin below the noseClose-up of a wide, angular jaw and chin below the nose

This kind of person is extremely stubborn. They won’t turn back even after hitting a wall, and they hold grudges. If you offended them ten years ago, they’ll still remember it in their little notebook.

When you’re young, you’re prone to acting impulsively and getting into fights over the slightest disagreement; it’s no wonder you suffer losses.

Some people have square chins but little flesh on them, just skin and bones, and they feel rough to the touch. Such people are too rigid in personality, inflexible, and their bluntness can easily offend others.

They struggle to succeed in their careers, are prone to falling out with business partners, can’t save money, and remain stubborn in their old age, refusing to listen to their children and arguing with their families every day.

Even if someone has a square chin, they can’t be considered wealthy.

Double Chins

There’s also the double chin. Nowadays, many people think that having a double chin is a good thing, indicating good fortune and wealth in old age.

I’ve seen many chubby young men in their twenties with double chins that almost reach their chests; their skin is all soft flesh, and pressing it leaves a dent.

He went to the hospital for a checkup and had all three high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar, and his fatty liver was also moderate. Do you think his double chin is a blessing?

That’s a problem caused by what you eat. When you get old, you have to take medicine and inject insulin every day. You’ll suffer too much to even enjoy life.

Some people have a double chin, but their chin recedes, almost disappearing into their neck, making their jawline barely visible.

Such people are weak-willed and indecisive, easily swayed by what others say. When they are young, any money they earn is either swindled away by friends or seduced by their partners, and they can’t save any money at all.

As people age, they are easily fooled by scammers selling health products. They save up their retirement money and buy useless health supplements. When their children tell them off, they don’t listen and feel that their children don’t want what’s best for them.

It’s better to have no double chin than to have one.

Check Proportion First: The Three Sections of the Face

Many people don’t know that when judging the fortune associated with the chin, the first thing to look at is not its shape, but its proportion.

The face is divided into three sections. The upper section, from the hairline to the brow bone, corresponds to one’s early life, from age fifteen to thirty.

The middle section, from the brow bone to the base of the nose, corresponds to middle age, from thirty to fifty years old.

The lower part of the face, from the base of the nose to the tip of the chin, corresponds to one’s fortune in old age, after the age of fifty.

Front-view face divided by dashed lines into upper, middle and lower sectionsFront-view face divided by dashed lines into upper, middle and lower sections

The basic configuration is that all three sections are equal in length and roughly the same.

If your lower section is significantly shorter than your upper and middle sections, even if your chin is round and full, your luck in old age is likely to be diminished.

I used to have a neighbor who had a perfectly round chin, which looked very festive, but her lower section was almost a third shorter than her middle section.

I loved to have fun when I was young, and I spent all the money I earned. I stopped paying social security and didn’t save any money.

Now I’m over seventy, and I’m in good health, but I don’t have a pension, and my children aren’t well-off, so they can’t give me much money.

She collects cardboard boxes and plastic bottles in the neighborhood every day to earn some pocket money. She lives a very frugal life. Can you say that her round chin means she is blessed?

If the lower part of the face is much longer than the upper and middle parts, even if it’s a square chin, it’s easy to be worried and restless even when you’re old.

I once met a supermarket owner with a square chin and a very well-defined jawline, which, according to folklore, is a sign of great wealth and prosperity.

However, the lower section is almost a quarter longer than the middle section. He’s 68 this year and still spends every day in the supermarket, handling everything himself, from purchasing to inventory.

His son wanted to take over the business, but he was worried that his son might overcharge or make a mistake in collecting money. He stayed up until 10 p.m. every day, busier than when he was younger.

He himself said that he can’t stay idle. He feels uncomfortable all over when he’s idle. You could say he’s rich, he certainly has money, but he just can’t enjoy a peaceful life.

Complexion, Moles and the Rest of the Face

Complexion

The second thing to look at is complexion; good shape doesn’t mean everything is fine.

No matter how good your chin shape is, if it’s constantly bluish-black, or has a bunch of red, swollen boils, or malignant moles, it’s all for naught.

Just like if your birth chart’s hour pillar is a favorable element, but it’s been shattered by clashes, punishments, and harms, it can’t play a positive role at all.

Last time, a construction boss came to me. He had a square chin and a very full lower jaw, which made him look like a man of good fortune.

Yellow tower cranes over a building under constructionYellow tower cranes over a building under construction

However, during that time, a large, black boil grew in the middle of his chin; it felt hard to the touch.

I reminded him to pay attention to cash flow, the problems with his subordinates, and the health of his elderly family members.

He was busy rushing to finish the project and didn’t take it seriously, saying he was just feeling a bit feverish and would feel better in a couple of days.

Less than half a month later, the subordinate in charge of materials ran off with a prepayment, and a minor accident occurred on the construction site, resulting in a significant financial loss.

His elderly mother fell at home and was hospitalized, incurring expenses of over $14,000. During that time, he was extremely stressed and almost sold the project.

Later, the boil disappeared, leaving a small red mark, and the matter was gradually resolved. He even came over to thank me later.

Moles on the Chin

There are also rules regarding moles on the chin; not all moles are bad, nor are all moles good.

If a mole is located in the center of the chin, is black and shiny, and has a small hair growing on it, it is a good mole, indicating that one will have abundant land and property in old age, substantial savings, and will not have to worry about money.

If a mole is located on either side of the chin, is grayish or dark in color, and feels raised to the touch, then you should be careful, as it may indicate financial loss in old age or troublesome children.

I once met an aunt who had a grayish-black mole on the right side of her chin. She always felt it was unsightly and wanted to have it removed.

I advised her not to remove it. The mole wasn’t disfiguring, so there was no need to touch it. I told her to just pay more attention to her children’s spending and not let them make any reckless investments.

She wouldn’t listen and insisted on getting it done. As a result, she was left with a scar. Less than half a year later, her son’s investment failed, and he owed tens of thousands of dollars. She took out all her retirement money to pay off her son’s debts.

It wasn’t that the mole removal caused it; rather, the mole itself was a clue that she didn’t take seriously and didn’t prepare in advance.

The Rest of the Face

The third thing to look at is the overall appearance, that is, the rest of the face, not just the chin.

Front-view portrait of a calm young woman showing her whole faceFront-view portrait of a calm young woman showing her whole face

No matter how good your chin is, if your nose is flat, your cheekbones are thin, and your forehead is narrow, you won’t have good luck or make money when you’re young, so where will you get the resources to enjoy life when you’re old?

Just like if your birth chart has a good hour pillar, but all the major luck cycles before that are unfavorable, you won’t make any money in your life, and even if you have good fortune in your old age, it won’t matter.

I’ve seen many people with great chins, but terrible midsections, crooked noses, and sharp cheekbones. They failed at everything they did when they were young, didn’t make any money, and ended up with a lot of debt.

Even if your children are filial when you get old, you still have to pay off debts, so what blessings can you expect?

Conversely, if you have a particularly good midsection, a straight nose, and fleshy cheekbones, and you earned enough money and accumulated enough wealth when you were young, even if your chin is a little less attractive, you won’t be too bad off in your later years.

Just like those celebrities, many of them have pointed chins, but their midsections are good-looking. In their middle age, they earn more money than ordinary people could earn in several lifetimes. When they get old, they hire ten or eight caregivers to take care of them. How could they be lonely?

It’s ridiculous to apply the living conditions of ordinary people to other people’s situations.

Your Later Years Reflect How You Live

Many people don’t realize that the chin, which corresponds to one’s later years, is actually largely a result of one’s actions in one’s early and middle years.

When you were young, you were hardworking, saved money, paid social security, educated your children well, maintained good relationships with your family, and exercised.

Silhouette of a person running on a bridge at sunriseSilhouette of a person running on a bridge at sunrise

Even if you have a pointed chin, you’ll still have money to spend when you’re old, children to accompany you, good health, and a comfortable life.

When you were young, you lay around all day, spending whatever you earned, neglecting your children, straining your relationships with your family, and ruining your health by staying up late and drinking heavily.

Even if you have a square chin, a round chin, or a double chin, you’ll still have no money to spend when you get old, no one to care for you, a host of health problems, and a miserable life.

Fortune-telling is always a summary of patterns, not a judgment of destiny.

Many people always think of finding a shortcut, believing that by looking at the shape of their chin, they can know whether they can enjoy a comfortable old age without having to work hard.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

I’ve been in this industry for over a decade and have seen too many people with good looks squander their advantages, and I’ve also seen many people with seemingly bad looks who have made a living through their own hard work.

There was once a young man with a pointed chin and a short lower jaw. According to the saying, he was destined to be lonely in his old age.

But he was very hardworking. He started working after graduating from junior high school, working as a waiter in a restaurant. Later, he saved up money and opened a small restaurant, and the business got better and better.

People working behind the counter of a small restaurantPeople working behind the counter of a small restaurant

He also married a virtuous wife, and they had a son and a daughter, whom he raised exceptionally well.

Now he’s almost fifty, has bought three houses in the provincial capital, has several hundred thousand dollars in savings, and has handed over the restaurant to his wife and son to manage. He spends his days picking up his daughter from school and exercising, living a very comfortable life.

You say he’s lonely because of his pointed chin? He’s living a better life than many people with square chins.

There was also an older man with a square jaw and a double chin, who looked like he was destined for good fortune.

However, he was a gambler when he was young, lost all the money he earned, and was left with a lot of debt. His wife ran away with the children.

Now he’s over sixty and still doing odd jobs on construction sites to pay off his debts. He doesn’t even have a place to live. Where is the good fortune in his round chin and double chin?

After saying all this, you should understand how one-sided those online claims about pointed chins signifying loneliness and square chins signifying wealth were.

What Does a Pointed Chin Mean in Face Reading?

If you really want to see your fortune in your later years by looking at your chin, you can’t just look at the shape. You have to combine the proportions, complexion, the overall facial features, and your own actions over the years.

As for what everyone is most curious about, what kind of chin truly indicates a life of filial piety and good fortune, I will explain it to you in detail below. Different chin shapes correspond to different fortunes under different circumstances, and what constitutes a truly good chin.

First, let’s talk about the pointed chin.

Not all pointed chins are bad; it depends on the specific situation.

A Thin, Short Pointed Chin

If you have a pointed chin, a short lower jaw, no flesh on your chin, a chin as thin as a razor blade, and it recedes back, your whole face will look as bland as an unrisen bun, your nose will be flat, and your cheekbones will have no flesh.

Side profile of a small chin that slopes back toward the neckSide profile of a small chin that slopes back toward the neck

He didn’t accumulate any wealth when he was young, didn’t pay social security, and didn’t educate his children well.

In their later years, they were indeed likely to live a rather frugal life, with little companionship and little savings.

It’s not that the children are unfilial; it’s more likely that the children aren’t very capable and have to go out to work to make a living, so they can’t stay by your side.

You yourself are also prone to health problems, with some chronic illnesses and needing to take medication every day.

I’ve seen many elderly women in rural areas with this kind of face. They had five or six children when they were young, and sent them all to work in the city. They don’t come back even once a year.

My spouse passed away early, and I’m left alone in this old house, living on welfare and the occasional few dozen dollars from my children. It’s really not easy for me.

A Pointed Chin With Balanced Proportions

If you have a pointed chin, but the lower part of your face is proportionally balanced and about the same length as the upper and middle parts, and your chin has flesh that feels soft to the touch but is not loose or receding.

Zhong Ting is quite good-looking, with a straight nose and fleshy cheekbones that are neither sharp nor flat.

Your pointed chin doesn’t indicate a lonely or miserable appearance at all.

You are likely to be quick-witted, enjoy new things, and have a strong ability to learn. In your youth, you will likely engage in mental labor or creative and artistic industries, earning a considerable amount of money.

You are also willing to spend money on yourself, and you won’t spend all your money on your children. You will leave yourself a way out.

In your later years, you will most likely not like living with your children, feeling restricted, and would prefer to live alone or in a well-equipped nursing home, spending time with your old friends.

You’re not lonely; you’ve chosen to be alone, and you’re living a very comfortable life.

A friend of mine has a mother with a pointed chin. After retiring, she enrolled in five or six hobby classes, learning painting, dancing, and guzheng. She also travels two or three times a year.

Smiling older woman at a community arts and crafts classSmiling older woman at a community arts and crafts class

Occasionally, her son would invite her to stay at his house for a couple of days, but she would only stay for three days before finding it troublesome and wanting to go back to her own home. She said that her son’s family had many rules, and she also had to help take care of her grandson, which was too tiring.

You say she’s lonely and miserable? She’s enjoying life, which is much better than an elderly person who’s always revolving around their children.

What Does a Square Jaw Mean in Face Reading?

Then he mentioned the square jaw.

A Square, Thick Chin

A square, thick chin does indeed indicate a high likelihood of wealth and good fortune, but certain conditions must be met.

It means your jawline is rounded, not sharp like a knife, your jawbones don’t protrude to the sides, your chin has flesh that doesn’t feel rough to the touch, and your entire lower part is full and proportionally harmonious.

People with square chins are generally stable, responsible, down-to-earth, and do not take shortcuts.

Whether working a job or running a business when you’re young, you can steadily build up your wealth step by step.

They are responsible to their families and attentive to their children’s education; they won’t neglect them.

In their later years, most of them have substantial savings and don’t have to worry about money. Their children are also well-educated, sensible, filial, and very respectful of them.

I once met a factory owner who had this kind of square chin. He started as an apprentice in the workshop when he was young and saved up money for ten years before opening a small workshop.

For decades, they have been steady and pragmatic, never engaging in high-risk investments or taking out high-interest loans, and have simply focused on making good products.

Now that he’s almost seventy, he’s handed the factory over to his son, who is reliable and doesn’t need him to worry about it.

He spends his days fishing, playing chess with old friends, and traveling regularly. He lives a very stable life and never worries about money.

A Square Jaw With Protruding Jawbones

If you have a square jaw, but your jawbones protrude horizontally to both sides, which is what people commonly call “protruding cheeks,” and your jawline has a particularly sharp angle without any fleshy bumps, it feels rough to the touch.

Then a square chin like yours isn’t a sign of wealth and nobility.

You have a very stubborn personality, are not easily managed, do not listen to other people’s opinions, and are particularly vengeful. If someone offends you once, you can hold a grudge for years.

When young, people are prone to acting impulsively, getting into conflicts with others over the slightest disagreement, and even going astray.

If you go into the military, police, or technical industries, it’s better; you can achieve something through your own perseverance. But if you go into other industries, you’re more likely to offend people and suffer a major setback.

In their later years, they are prone to stubbornness, unable to listen to their children, and frequently have conflicts with them. Even if they have money, they are not happy.

I had a distant relative with this kind of face. He got into fights when he was young, spent eight years in jail, and after he got out, he opened a car repair shop.

The skills are really good, but the temper is terrible. They argue with customers all the time, and business has always been lukewarm.

He’s almost seventy now, and his son wants him to close the shop and move in with him, but he refuses, saying his son thinks he’s useless and wants to take over the shop.

He runs his small auto repair shop every day, has no worries about food or clothing, but always has a long face and doesn’t want to talk to anyone, making his life very awkward.

What Does a Round Chin Mean in Face Reading?

Next is the round chin.

People with round chins are generally gentle and have good interpersonal relationships. They can get along well with family and friends.

A Full, Well-Proportioned Round Chin

If you have a round chin, a full and fleshy lower jaw, and are in good proportion, without any moles or horizontal lines, then you are likely to have good fortune in your later years.

You have a good temper when you are young, and you are more likely to meet helpful people. You don’t have to suffer too much. You also care about your family and have a good relationship with your children.

In their later years, they don’t have to worry about too many things, their children are filial, their families are harmonious, and they live a comfortable life.

My previous downstairs neighbor was an auntie with a round chin. She had a really nice personality, always smiling at everyone, and never argued with anyone.

Older woman with a rounded face smiling warmlyOlder woman with a rounded face smiling warmly

She worked in administration at a state-owned enterprise when she was young. Her job was easy, her husband doted on her, and her children were sensible.

She’s been retired for almost ten years now. Her son and daughter-in-law are very filial, and her grandson is always clinging to her. She spends her days doing housework, picking up her grandson, and occasionally going out to square dancing with her old friends. She lives a very comfortable life.

A Short or Sagging Round Chin

If you have a round chin, but the lower part of your chin is particularly short, or the flesh on your chin is loose and saggy, and you also have deep horizontal lines or malignant moles.

You should also be careful, as you are too soft-hearted, lack assertiveness, and are easily led astray.

When you’re young, your husband or children may have managed all the money in the house, leaving you with little savings and no opinions of your own.

If your spouse passes away first when you get old, or your children are unfilial, you are likely to suffer injustice, have no money, and your words carry little weight.

I once met an auntie with a round chin and a very short lower jaw. When she was young, she listened to her husband in everything and didn’t even know the password to his salary card.

Her husband suddenly passed away from a heart attack. She didn’t even know how much savings they had or where the bankbooks were. Her son was unfilial and ran off with all the money her husband left behind.

She lives on a mere $140 a month in retirement pension, which is a very difficult life for her. She often picks up vegetable scraps to eat in the neighborhood.

What Does a Double Chin Mean in Face Reading?

Then there’s the double chin.

A Firm Double Chin

A double chin is indeed a sign of good fortune, but it must be a firm double chin, not a puffy one.

It should feel elastic when you pinch it, have a normal color that isn’t dark, and a clear boundary between the chin and neck, not that they’re connected.

People with this type of double chin usually have strong kidney energy, good spleen and stomach, and are healthy in old age, and are not prone to chronic diseases.

They have an outgoing personality, are broad-minded, don’t hold grudges, are not prone to making enemies, have many friends, and have good relationships with their family.

They are good at saving money when they are young and won’t waste it. They will have no worries about food and clothing in their old age, and their children will be filial.

My maternal grandmother has this kind of double chin. She’s almost ninety years old this year, but she’s still sharp-eared and has good eyesight. She can still cook and do laundry by herself, and when she has nothing to do, she goes to the village entrance to chat with the other old ladies.

Older woman cooking in her kitchenOlder woman cooking in her kitchen

We younger generations love to visit her during holidays and festivals, and she’s always happy and carefree, never taking anything to heart. She’s truly blessed with a life of happiness.

A Puffy Double Chin

If your double chin is puffy, feels soft to the touch, leaves a dent when pressed, has a dark color, and blends seamlessly into your neck, making it difficult to distinguish the chin from your neck, then you’re likely experiencing a double chin.

That doesn’t mean you have a lucky face; it means you have a health problem.

Most of them have heavy phlegm and dampness, and are prone to high blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular problems. They had poor eating habits when they were young, liked to eat greasy food, and did not like to exercise.

As people age, they are easily tormented by chronic diseases, taking medicine and going to the hospital every day. Even if they have money, they will still suffer and cannot be considered to enjoy life.

I once met a guy who was only in his forties but had this puffy double chin. When he went to the hospital for a checkup, he had all three high blood pressures (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar) and moderate fatty liver.

The doctor told him to lose weight and control his diet, but he didn’t listen. He ate and drank excessively every day and loved to drink alcohol.

He’s almost sixty now and has to inject insulin every day. He gets breathless after walking just a few steps and can’t even go downstairs. Although his children are filial and stay with him every day, he suffers physically and doesn’t live a comfortable life.

Double chins caused by excessive obesity that disappear after weight loss don’t count. A true double chin, even if you’re thin, will still have some firm flesh on your chin, not from being overweight.

The Chin Said to Signal a Comfortable, Well-Supported Old Age

Finally, let’s talk about what everyone cares about most: the chin that indicates a life of filial piety and good fortune, a pouch chin.

The chin is slightly upturned, like a small pouch that can hold things. The lower part of the face is full and fleshy, with harmonious proportions. There are no bad moles or deep horizontal lines on the chin, and the complexion is rosy.

Close-up of a full, rounded chin and lower faceClose-up of a full, rounded chin and lower face

People with this type of chin are gentle but opinionated; they don’t follow the crowd or stubbornly cling to their own views.

They are very attentive to their children’s education, but they will not interfere excessively in their children’s lives. They know how to maintain a distance from their children and will also plan for their own old age, without giving all their money to their children.

He was hardworking and diligent when he was young, saved money, paid social security, bought a house, and had a good relationship with his family.

In your later years, your children will not only be successful but also very filial. They will be willing to stay by your side and provide you with enough money to spend. You will also be in good health and won’t have to suffer.

They are truly destined for a life of luxury, with nothing to worry about.

I once met a retired professor with a pouch chin. He was a university teacher when he was young and was very patient with his students and his own children, and he respected his children’s ideas.

His son wanted to start his own business after graduation, and he supported him, but only gave him a portion of the start-up capital, saying it was okay if he lost money, but don’t expect him to cover the losses.

He doesn’t object to his daughter wanting to marry someone from far away, saying that as long as his daughter is happy, that’s all that matters.

He’s almost eighty now. His son’s company is very successful, and his daughter is doing well in another city. Both of his children want him to come live with them, but he doesn’t want to, so he lives in his old house by himself.

The children come to visit him every week, and the whole family gathers together during holidays, making it especially lively.

He also has a high pension and a lot of savings. He often travels with old friends when he has nothing to do, and his life is the envy of many.

Chin Dimples, Vertical Lines and Receding Chins

Of course, there are exceptions. For example, some people have a small dimple on their chin, which is called a “beauty cleft” by the common people. People with this kind of chin are mostly romantic and sentimental. They have rich emotional experiences when they are young and are likely to have companions in their later years and will not be lonely.

Some people have fine vertical lines on their chin. As long as they are not too deep, it’s fine. But if they are very deep, like a cut, then you should be careful that you may be lonely in your later years or have health problems.

There are also people with receding chins, where the chin retracts and is almost connected to the neck. People with this chin are weak-willed, indecisive, and easily follow the crowd. They cannot hold onto their wealth when they are young, and are easily deceived when they are old. Even if the chin shape is good, they are not likely to keep money.

Final Thoughts: Your Chin Is Not Your Destiny

I also want to remind you that the chin corresponds to your fortune after the age of sixty. If you are only in your twenties or thirties, even if your chin is not well-shaped, don’t panic.

You have several decades to save money, accumulate good karma, educate your children, and exercise, which is enough to make up for any congenital deficiencies.

The saying “your appearance reflects your heart” is not just a joke. I’ve seen many people who had pointed chins, as thin as razor blades, when they reached middle age. As their lives became more stable and their mindset improved, their chins gradually gained weight, and their entire appearance changed. They lived very well in their later years.

Don’t keep thinking about getting your chin shaved or filled; it’s useless.

Cosmetic surgery only alters the surface shape; your inner character, your habits, and the good fortune you’ve accumulated cannot be changed by surgery.

I’ve seen many people who, after getting their chins shaved, actually become more extreme in their personalities, more prone to getting stuck on minor issues, and end up worse off than before.

Instead of wasting money on cosmetic surgery, it’s better to work hard, save money, educate your children well, and exercise regularly. That’s much better than anything else.

Fortune-telling is meant to help you recognize your strengths and weaknesses, not to sentence you to death.

You will live the kind of life you are; the blessings of your later years are all accumulated step by step in your youth.

Instead of worrying about your chin, focus on living each day to the fullest.
