Before your first reading.
What exactly is free?
The scan. You get your archetype and six first-impression scores for every photo you scan, with no email or payment card. The written personality, dating, and friendship readings and two-person matches are paid. View pricing.
Do I need an account?
Not to scan. If you buy a reading, sign in with your email to save it to your account and open it on another device. You sign in with a code sent by email. No password is needed.
Can I read someone else’s face?
Yes, with their permission. FaceSage does not notify or message the person in the photo. Only upload a photo you have permission to use.
What kind of photo should I use?
Choose a well-lit photo with one face looking straight ahead and a relaxed expression. Keep the eyes visible and avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, and strong head tilts. A clear screenshot can work too. If the app cannot read the face, it will ask you to try another photo. You can add up to two extra photos of the same person.
What happens to my photo?
The app measures the face on your device and sends a smaller photo and the measurements to the reading service. Our Privacy Policy explains AI processing, what is stored, and when it is deleted.
What do the reading and scores mean?
They show the app’s descriptions and estimates, based on face-reading traditions. They are for entertainment, not a scientific personality test. A photo cannot tell you whether someone is honest, how they feel, or what they will do. Read more about face-reading accuracy.
Do I need to download an app?
No. You can upload your photo and read the results here in your browser, on your phone or computer.
